Chromite mineral powder for brake pad wear filler

Chromium powder 200 mesh and  325 mesh can be used in casting coatings line as wear-resistant aggregates. It mainly plays the role of wear-resistant, anti-sticky sand, accelerated cooling, rapid heat conduction and heat dissipation. Chromium ore powder is made of 48-50% cast grade chromium ore grinding by a mechanical mill disk, and then through 200 mesh or 325 mesh screen to screen the fine powder. By controlling the large particles remaining on the screen, the fineness will be at 0-75um and 0-45um.

Chromium  powder  characteristics:

1. Fineness precision, screen pass rate is greater than 97%, can also be achieved according to customer requirements.

2. Low moisture content, dry without caking.

3. High fire resistance temperature. Chromite ore is a good casting refractory material, melting point 2180 degrees, sintering temperature greater than 1850 degrees.

4. Excellent thermal conductivity. Compared with zircon powder, chromium ore has a stronger heat conduction capacity.

5. Low coefficient of thermal expansion. Although the thermal expansion coefficient of chromium mineral powder is slightly higher than that of zircon powder, it is much smaller than silica sand, and the cost performance is very high in terms of the low cost of chromium mineral powder. Can prevent casting deformation.
